My Grade

I put work into this project so I think I should get a decent grade but the way it turned out looked pretty bad so. Thats important too. If I could change one thing about it it would be to add an interview or two. The only video I had was the one we found on the camera in class. Other people all seemed to agree that I needed a narration, and I did have one. It wasn't very good because it was my first take and I went through the whole thing without stopping. Somehow it got deleted though and it wasn't there when we watched it. I don't know why. I think my grade should be a B or C

My Autobiography

Mine was a little short and it didn't cover my whole life too well, except for the baby pictures. I had some narration but I don't know where it went.

Dina's Autobiography

I liked how it covered her whole life from when she was living in Russia to when she came here. It had parts about her family and friends and what she hoped for in the future.

Anthony Smart's Autobiography

Short, but so was mine. Interviews and video were good and the pictures were pretty good too. I think there could have been more narration but besides that it was a good project.

Keith Singh's Autobiography

His was more like an example of an average day in his life but it was more interesting that way. There was still a good use of video and interviews. The music fit really well and his narration made it seem like a story instead of a boring autobiography.

NY Times Interactive Media: Israel, the Gaza Strip, and Hamas

The Israeli/Palestinian conflict dates back about a thousand years but it has intensified more recently when Israel became a country in 1948. In 1956, Israel invaded Egypt and seized Gaza strip from them. Back then Israel had Europe on it's side because of what had happened during the holocaust. Now Europe just wants the fighting to stop. After 31 years of fighting, Israel signed a peace treaty with Egypt. The treaty included giving Palestine it's own government. Seven years later Hamas was founded as a resistance to Israeli occupation. In 1993, Yasir Arafat signed an accord with Israel but Hamas was opposed to it and increased their violent attacks. After 38 years of occupying it, Israel pulled it's troops out of Gaza in 2005. Hamas was elected in 2006 and then violently took over Gaza in 2007. Since then there has been pretty much constant fighting back and forth

Camila Carvalho's Autobiography Project

I like the lighting in this project. In the interview and pictures everything seems bright and well light. She covered everything pretty well from her childhood to her hopes for the future. Good use of the music to make transitions.

Anthony Alberico's Biography Project

I thought this one was really realistic. It looked a lot more like a biography than mine or other ones that I've seen from our class. It had good narration throughout the video. It had a good combination of pictures, interviews, and other video footage like the football games. I like the transitions too like the part where it went from the interview to when he was singing as a kid.

Holiday Break

Over break i didn't really do anything. I went out with my friends a couple days but mostly i just stayed at home and slept. I had track almost every and a couple meets so that kept me from being too lazy. I had to take care of my friends' dog while they were in New Zealand and my dog hated him so that sucked. I never go anywhere fun like that.
